Softing PROFIBUS Configurator is a Windows-based engineering tool for setting up, commissioning, and maintaining PROFIBUS networks. Used together with compatible PROFIBUS master interfaces, it lets you build projects, import device GSD files, assign station addresses, and define device parameters. You can download configurations to the master, scan the bus for connected devices, and compare offline projects with the live system to validate settings.
The tool provides diagnostic views to help pinpoint addressing, wiring, or parameterization issues and supports common commissioning workflows such as parameter upload/download and guided device replacement. It is suitable for PROFIBUS DP and, where supported, PA segments via appropriate links.
